The safety of our community and our clients is our number #1 priority. We as a team have studied COVID-19 protocols, drawn on the advice of experts, and thought diligently about to how to maintain our experience all the while maintaining safety during these uncertain times.

Deep Cleaning

TOP-GRADE DISINFECTANT, WITH ELECTROSTATIC DISTRIBUTION.

The PURTABS® disinfectant allows us to spray more evenly, gets hard-to-reach crevices, clings to every surface it coats, and is proven to kill viruses like COVID-19. Staff will use this on surfaces in all common areas before and after check-ins, with a special attention to rowers, weights, and all high-touch surfaces after every class. This touchless electrostatic sprayer solution “wraps around” surfaces and objects in 360°, providing 3x more coverage in the same amount of time than traditional spray bottles, buckets, and rags. PURTABS® dissolves in water and is a high quality, hospital grade disinfectant solution. It kills viruses and bacteria including (but not limited to) cold, flu virus, staph, hepatitis, norovirus, strep HIV, salmonella, H1N1, rhinoviruses. C. Di spores and much more. PURTABS® are effective with a 4-minute C Diff kill rate.

DISINFECTING HIGH-TOUCH SURFACES.

After every class, we’ll disinfect doorknobs, handles, light switches, sanitizing stations, lockers, bathrooms, sinks, toilets, benches, locker keys, the front desk, keyboards, computers, phones, and instructor equipment. Additional time will be added in between classes in order to accommodate for our full cleaning procedures.

ALL ROWERS DISINFECTED.

After every class, every rower in the studio will be thoroughly disinfected—even if not in use.

ALL WEIGHTS DISINFECTED.

After every class, all weights and mats will be thoroughly disinfected—even if not in use.

STAFF FACE MASKS & GLOVES.

Staff will be required to wear gloves during their shift, and strongly encouraged to wear masks. After deep cleaning, they’ll wash their hands before refreshing gloves and masks as needed.

Class Changes

6+ FEET SOCIAL DISTANCING WITH BARRIERS

Classes will now run with 6+ feet of social distancing with barriers between equipment. Masks are required during class.

CLASS PROGRAMMING & DISINFECTING

Classes will be programmed for 3 rounds on the rower and 3 round on the floors. Each client will have their own rower and bench at their spot so no equipment is shared during class.

Staff Health Check

Every staff member and instructor will have their temperature checked before their shift. When necessary, we’ll follow our elevated temperature protocol.

Clients will be asked check in before they arrive to class with our GEO CHECK-IN feature on the Row Republic app. When clients are within 100 meters of the studio, they will be able to check in under their “upcoming reservations tab”.

health declarations

Before coming in to the studio, you must sign a Health Declaration stating that you agree to the health and safety parameters put in place by our governments. You’ll be able to do this in your app before checking in. If booking multiple spots, every client must sign a Health Declaration. To make this process easier, we encourage all clients to book a rower with their own account.

HIGH TOUCH AMENITIES

To limit hand-to-hand contact, we’re removing gum, razors, q-tips, and complimentary phone charging. Hair ties and individually-wrapped ear plugs will be behind the desk, available upon request.

STAFF HOSPITALITY AND SAFETY.

Your studio staff is here to help, from a safe distance. We’ve put a protocol in place that limits staff from leaving the front desk, aside from studio cleaning. When absolutely necessary, staff will (safely) assist clients with equipment or lockers.

CANCEL SPOTS BY THE DEADLINE.

To allow as many clients as possible to get a rowers, we’ll be strictly enforcing our cancellation policy—please remember to cancel 24 hours before your class starts.

If you forget your combination, please wait until there are no other clients at the front desk to have your locker unlocked by staff.

Our retail will still be available, but we ask that you avoid touching items as much as possible.
