Two siblings are set to open an indoor rowing studio.
Today was a big day. We finally broke ground on our first rowing studio with our demolition phase. Being our first build out we wanted to take part in the experience. While you would think running around with sledgehammers is all that it is we learned quickly that there is much more to it than you think. Although we personally only filmed the experience and broke on or two glass panels (which I’d be lying if I said we got in one take) it was still great to finally see Row Republic studio #1 take shape.
Stay tuned for Chapter 2. We begin throwing up walls as out framing period kicks into high gear.
We are flattered. Boston Magazine has featured Row Republic as a top new studio opening in our wonderful city of Boston.
“Row Republic, an entirely rowing-based studio, is coming to the North End this year and we’re getting Barry’s Bootcamp vibes. Similar to Barry’s, in which you split your time between the treadmill and strength floor, this workout is split between the rower and the strength floor, offering a complete workout—or shall we say, a completely hard workout.” (Boston Magazine)
We couldn’t be more excited. Check out the full article here.
